THe Problem

Memberful had a strong product and a clear audience, but organic search wasn't yet contributing meaningfully to acquisition. There was an opportunity to reach more creators and membership businesses already searching for answers to the problems Memberful solved. The challenge wasn't simply producing more content. It was understanding what prospective customers cared about, where Memberful had something valuable to say, and building a strategy around that intersection.

The work

We started with the customer. By looking at the questions, challenges, and use cases most relevant to Memberful’s audience, we identified an opportunity to build a content engine around high-intent topics related to monetizing memberships, gated content, and subscriptions.

From there, we built an SEO and content strategy designed to do more than generate traffic. The goal was to create genuinely useful resources that could introduce the right customers to Memberful, build authority in the category, and connect naturally to the product.

We launched and scaled the blog, strengthened SEO across the site, and connected content more intentionally to the broader customer journey. Instead of treating content as a series of campaigns, we built it as a long-term acquisition asset.

The Result

Organic traffic grew 4×, turning content into a meaningful acquisition channel for the business. More importantly, Memberful had built an engine that could continue compounding over time rather than relying solely on short-term acquisition tactics.
